LC-Part time

Expected working hours per week: 1

 

Primary Duty

You will be the tutor of some international student

 

Activities

(Only have to do this one time, because you only get one student):

 

  • Pick the student up from train station

  • Answer e-mails prior the arriving:

    • FAQ’s: Whats the weather like? , Can I arrive earlier than my contract?

  • Show him the campus

  • Integrate him to the German culture

  • Assist to at least one activity a month (Like movies night, international dinner, etc.)

  • Basic English.

  • Interest in meeting new cultures

LC-Finance

Expected working hours per week: 3

 

Primary Duty

You will be responsible for the finance of IAESTE-Old

 

Activities

 

  • Pay the interns

  • Pay the rent of the interns

  • Administrate the local funds (DAAD give an extra support for the commitee)

​

Requested Skills and Interests

​

  • Basic English skills

  • Basic knowledge of Excel

  • Interest in meeting new cultures and in learning financial matters

 

It is not necessary to have a prior financial knowledge since a 1 W.E. training will be held.

LC-Diffusion

Expected working hours per week: 2

 

Primary Duty

Make the IAESTE-Old popular

 

Activities

 

  • Go to fairs

  • Make presentations

Requested Skills and Interests

​

  • Basic English.

  • Able to make presentations in front of an audience.

  • Interest in meeting new cultures and in design/marketing/publicity

Primary Duty

Organize activities for the interns, some ideas:

 

  • Movies Night

  • Beer Night

  • Bowling

  • Visit museums

  • International Dinner

  • Interes to meet new cultures and traveling!

LC-Controling

Expected woring hours per week: 4-5

 

Primary Duty

Control that everybody is achieving their goals.

Activities

​

  • Check the good-bye survey

  • Listen to the interns complain

  • Check on the other LC's and remind them of their duties.

  • Check the e-mail and write the agenda of LC meetings.

​

Requested Skills and Interests

​

  • Basic English.

  • Intermedium knowledge of Excel.

  • Interest in meeting new cultures and passion to lead an institution
